Rep. Barnard’s legislative update: Smart policies vs. bad proposals
Rep. Stephanie Barnard, R-Pasco, shares an update from Olympia on important bills this session. She talks about her work to improve energy infrastructure with House Bill 1819 and her effort to cut red tape for birthing centers with House Bill 1824.
Barnard also warns about bills that could hurt Washington families, including a new road tax (House Bill 1921), early release for felons (House Bill 1125), higher property taxes (House Bill 1334), and possible new rules on home heating (Senate Bill 5174).
