8th Legislative District report on 2024 session

The 60-day legislative session concluded on Thursday, March 7. I am deeply grateful to everyone who reached out to me during the session. Together, we are working to improve our region and state, making them better places to live, work, and raise a family.

Please take a moment to read the 8th Legislative District team’s report on the 2024 session, which includes contributions from Sen. Matt Boehnke, Rep. April Connors, and myself. This recent mailing summarizes the Legislature’s activities during the session, including three approved citizen initiatives, my project for SMR development funding, an energy bill I sponsored to streamline utility reporting requirements, and other important issues addressed by lawmakers.
